Goal of the Work in Laramie

To establish a Bible-believing, Christ-centered and God-glorifying congregation, one which is faithful to Reformed doctrine, worship, practice and discipline, one which is marked by sound preaching of the Word, prayer, edification of the saints, loving Christian fellowship and evangelization of the lost and one which aims to daughter other congregations in Wyoming and the surrounding region.

Plan for the Work

1. The Church Planter and his wife will seek to contact and gather new converts and interested Christians to catch a vision for a Reformed Presbyterian Church in Laramie
    
2. They will also invite people from across the country to come to Laramie to join in and help with the work.
    
3. From the beginning, evangelism, Christian growth in doctrine and life, God-glorifying worship, fellowship and service will be taught and emphasized.
    
4. Biblical church structures of eldership and connection through the Presbytery will also be emphasized.
    
5. There will be a trust in God’s power to build his church shown by prayer for the work, by faith in God providing finances and by a willingness to let people go, people to whom God ministers through the Laramie church, but then sends to other parts of the world to serve him
    
6. While we will seek to serve and train college students, we will aim to build a community church made up of families and local, long term residents
    
7. We will concentrate on preparing members and their children for life-long service in the kingdom of God
